Support for families affected by ADHD
About Us
We are many different people:
- Parents raising a child or children with AD/HD
- Adults who learned early or later in life that they
have AD/HD
- Grandparents who want to learn more about their grandchildren’s AD/HD
- Adults with AD/HD raising children with and without
AD/HD
We are all looking for the same things:
- A place where we can talk freely about the challenges we face
- A place where even
a small success will be celebrated
- A place to learn more about AD/HD so that we will better understand how to cope most effectively
with its challenges
- A place where we can share resources and learn from others
We are fortunate to have the support of our talented Professional Advisory Board members. Our Board is composed of educators and health care providers who give their time to Wilmington Area CHADD. Each of them is committed to helping us provide support, education, and advocacy to all segments of our community that are affected by AD/HD .
